For the weekend edition of Het Financieele Dagblad on 17th August, I created an illustration for an article by Hans Stegeman, Chief Economist at Triodos Bank. The piece discusses the critical issue of the energy transition: the availability of sufficient capital. As long as the financial sector continues to invest in fossil fuels, financial innovations will remain inadequate.
